BreakAway

We offer a diversion program which provides at-risk & justice involved youth & young adults with an empowering alternative to traditional legal penalties such as incarceration or juvenile detention. Breakaway is a structured and intentional community service offering where we engage with local community businesses who share our passion and are willing to support our loved ones’ community service requirement by offering an informal internship.

Program Goals

1. Promote personal growth & reduce the risk of future justice involvement

2. Reduce exposure to incarceration for youth & young adults

3. Create avenues to address underlying causes of behavior that leads to justice involvement

Who Can Participate

Our diversion program is open to youth and young adults ages 16-21 who are either required to complete community service or are considered at risk and may benefit from extra structure and support.
