Juvenile Detention Version
Cell Dreamer: Freedom Starts Here, is an eight‑week journey that helps incarcerated young people reflect on their choices, understand the patterns that led to incarceration, and build the skills needed to move forward with purpose. Through guided self‑reflection and new coping strategies, participants learn how to break cycles that no longer serve them and make intentional decisions about their future.
The program encourages youth to look honestly at how they arrived in a detention setting while also imagining the life they want to create once they return to their communities.
Student Version
This curriculum helps young people understand who they are, recognize their strengths, and believe in their ability to shape their future. Cell Dreamer: Freedom Starts Here functions not just as a workbook, but as a personal development experience rooted in identity, purpose, and possibility. It supports youth in moving beyond obstacles and stepping into leadership, confidence, and positive decision‑making.

Parent Version
Cell Dreamer: Ignite is for parents and caregivers! Operation Resurge is locking arms with you as you journey challenging seasons with your loved one. The Village Parents is a supportive space for parents and caregivers of justice‑involved youth and young adults who want to strengthen their families and build a path forward. Together, we focus on deepening connection with your loved one, growing confidence in your parenting, and breaking the cycles that keep families stuck. You’ll join a community of other parents who understand the journey, share real-life experiences, and offer encouragement. Each meeting includes practical tools from the Cell Dreamer Parent Book, Ignite the Dream, to help you navigate challenges, support your child’s growth, and feel more grounded and empowered at home.

School & Community Version
The School and Community Leader version of Cell Dreamer equips the adults who guide our youth with the mindset, tools, and personal grounding needed to do this work with confidence and clarity. This curriculum helps leaders strengthen their own foundation—building self‑awareness, healthy boundaries, emotional resilience, and intentional goal‑setting—so they can model the very skills we want young people to develop.
By reflecting on their leadership identity and the impact they have on youth and young adults, participants learn how to create safe, supportive environments where growth is possible. This version empowers educators, mentors, and community partners to lead with purpose, communicate with compassion, and guide young people through difficult moments with consistency and care.
